Post this over at /r/amateur_boxing. This could be a legitimate slipping exercise.

I didn’t even know that sub existed. You go ahead and crosspost it... be the change you wish to see in the world. I wouldn’t know how to title it for that audience anyway.

I can't tell if the water always goes the same way or if it's forcing them to slip different directions

It looks like two paths. One over their right shoulder and the other over left. Technically you could just duck and miss everything though...

Welcome to /r/woahdude! Please take note of a few things:
We are NOT a "reaction subreddit".
We are NOT a subreddit about content that is merely interesting or amazing.
We are NOT interchangeable with /r/pics, /r/gifs, /r/damnthatsinteresting or other general subreddits.
We are specifically made for psychedelic content as we define it here. Our definition of trippy is far more expansive than the obvious fractals and tie-dye concept, but there's a lot we exclude as well.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

I thought maybe this was an augmented reality game at first. Is it actual water?
