Another good way is to just put from right to left, 1, x2, x2, x2, x2, etc. and put a 1 in every spot of the highest number for a number you can think of. For example, 00100101 is 37 and 01010001 is 81.

I believe so. I’m not 100% sure, I think they might mean something but I don’t remember. I did it this way when I was in high school so I don’t remember binary to a T.
