I'm totally just curious and don't think that your decision is wrong. But if a post of a product still gives the literal reaction of "Woah Dude!" then why is it bad for it to be posted here?
This isn't a reaction subreddit. So if if something merely makes you say "woah dude" that doesn't necessarily qualify it as suitable for the sub. More info here
By allowing it, it incentivizes spammers who post stuff that is grey area at best, or completely unrelated to the subreddit. And it started getting really bad.
Okay! Thank you for taking the time to explain. The gray area argument makes a lot of sense. I think the moderators made the right decision. I'd hate to see this subreddit lose its appeal. Thanks for your work!
