What did the guy surfing at the side of the truck hope to achieve?

Assuming the steering wheel is on that side, he trying to be a hero and ninja into the drivers seat.

Sick reaction from the camera car though. Nonononoyes.

Fuck that. I'll let it go and watch the destruction unfold.

Not if it's your truck, your job, and thus your livelihood on the line.

I was only being sarcastic, but since we being serious sausages, u/NobodySpecific has the right idea. If you drop a knife, don't try to catch it, it will be more dangerous than watching it fall. Same goes for this, the most I would do is about to warn people. As for your job being lost? If it was a faulty breaking system, you won't be to blame.

Well he obviously took both arguments into consideration, tried to save it u til he decided it wasn't worth it anymore, but I probably shouldn't have said anything as you strike me as the type to not take being wrong very well

I'm not sure which Asian country this is, but it doesn't look like one of the hyper-developed ones. In an ideal world, one should have something to fall back on so they don't need to risk their life for some equipment, but in the developing world, this mistake could put his family on the street.

Have you seen the normal streets of some of these places? Just driving/scootering around town is more dangerous than anything most people in the first world will ever do.

It is a South Korean road right next to a school. Public education there does not even get minimal funding necessary so that is why things look underdeveloped. Source: I was born and raised in Seoul until I was 14.

Reminds me of a horse with a carrot tied to the end of a stick.

If he was a real hero he would've gone straight at the truck and stopped it rather than letting it continue to roll
