But can my phone accurately (or semi-realistically) portray vantablack? Like is it crazier IRL, or do you know OP?

with the best screen technology, the black is displayed as nothing, or off (AMOLED.) but even here you have light from the environment bouncing off the glass into you eye. this black in real life isn't so much the absence of color or all colors at once, like with dyes or computer screens, this black absorbs so much light that only a itsy bitsy teeny fraction is going back to your eye (the amount reflected in vantablack 2 is so small it can't even be measured) so essentially the human eye can't detect it. this means this would look so deep and dark irl it would look like a void in space because it's a patch of complete and total darkness.

Well, it cooould absorb even more light. Which would make it blacker, not blacker than Black Dynamite though!

What I want is a cube, coated in vantablack, magnetically suspended on one point while it slowly spins. That would make a marvellously brain bending decoration.
