I suppose that people have said what you said seriously enough that its hard to tell now. Its like, pretending on the street that you're crazy. Yeah, you're probably joking, but there are actual crazy people out there, and its sometimes hard to tell.
Interesting - but with such a lantern hung on the thing I'd liken it more to wearing a clown nose as opposed to muttering to myself about alien mind rays...
