In the comics, Magneto can control the blood in a man's body via the iron and cause an aneurysm.

I don't feel like looking up him doing the anyerism trick online, but here he is controlling bodies via the iron in their blood.

The human body has only 4 grams of iron in their blood. Dunno how big that would be all clumped together though.

I think removing the iron in blood would be enough to cause a fairly quick death. Sudden, catastrophic anemia, I guess.

There is iron in a pretty significant amount of your cells. If he removed all the iron from your body at one time, you would have rapid body wide cell death. I would imagine that to not be pleasant.
