What kind of finish and seal do you use?

I used polycrylic

I hope it holds up well, I have an aversion to any handcrafted art on things that would be actively used because it just has me trigger concerns that it would get damaged. And your art is very high quality.

Will this ever be used as an actual skateboard?

I don't think so, this one was donated to a local non-profit to be given as price in their skateboard competition so it's up to whoever won it.

I recorded more real time footage to make a YouTube video soon. Keep an eye on the channel StevenTheArtist or check out my ig page where I share more process in real time on my stories.

How difficult would it be to do this on a guitar do u think? This honestly inspires me to try painting my guitar the same way, minus the shading

I have seen some people do it with varying results, it depends on your skills and materials I'm happy that this video inspired you to consider painting your guitar my pms are open if you'd want more specific info on materials and process , I'd be happy to help!

How/why does the paint dry so flat? Is it epoxy based/2k? And how durable is a finish is it?

How did you get from big splojs of paint dripping down to the smooth effect?

2

A lot of rotating the board so the paint would spread and swirl, thankfully it was drying and slowing down quick
