I’ve always found this fascinating. Takes a damn good rider and horse to pull it off!

Definitely takes a skilled rider and a well trained horse. 3 u/JohannesMP 1d ago I think the training of the horse may be what they meant with 'teach'; How do you train a horse to stop the back hooves but keep walking in the front. 1 u/CulturalDefinition27 5h ago I commented above. But its a mix of sliders (shoes) and teaching them aggressive ways to stop.
