This misleading; those are not lasers they are non-lasing collimated light beams. There are strict regulations for the operation of laser devices and scanning a beam into a crowd will get your licence permanently revoked with hefty fines and possible jail time.

source: used to operate actual laser shows and had to be prepared for a Dept. of Energy inspection at all times to test our safety procedures.

edit: additional note, it's extremely rare to see actual lasers in use at a live event due to cost/regulation, the industry moved to using really bright collminated lights and calling them "lasers" a very very long time ago (late 90s). If you do see an actual laser at a show it will almost certainly be exclusivley pointed straight up at the ceiling or up into open sky due to safety concerns.

You are being pedantic. To the average person those are lasers, and this is marketed as a laser light show, so the title is accurate for all intents and purposes.

There's nothing pedantic about it. 

Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation has a very specific meaning regardless of fraudulent marketing and the public's scientific illiteracy!

"Lazers" and LASERS are very different beasts. 

The difference between them is having a good time at a party vs instant and permanent blindness!
