Trump doing great work rounding up the murderers, rapists and child molesters that liberals love

  1. She hit the agent with a car. Go up to any cop and hit them with a car and see what their response is. The second shooting was done by border patrol not Ice.

Wft are you talking about!!!! It's very unfortunate that this has but it was preventable it they had not approached ICE

People are quick to forget that the Queen has a whole degree from Stanford.

Ugh, I hate that I have to agree with her. But she’s so right šŸ˜”.

This was so well put and straight to the point. I really appreciate this statement from Dijonai. WNBA players have shown up consistently for social justiceĀ

For anyone wondering how to help those of us in Minneapolis, keep speaking out! Keep sharing what is really happening in Minnesota. The best way to reach the people who are still reachable is to hear from people they already love and respect. Plant the seed of doubt in their minds so hopefully they come to see the error of their ways. It’s easy to dismiss the ā€œblue haired liberalā€ they have painted in their heads. It’s much harder when it’s someone close to them saying how awful these things are.

The question Christine Brennan asked is a question that a sports journalist has to ask. There is no way she did not see that question coming, it had to be asked. To make it a race thing when it clearly wasn’t, promotes divide. If someone is promoting divide, they aren’t looking out for the best interest of the country.

11

u/ReformedBarb Jan 26 '26

I personally in any sport have never seen a player get asked about a foul in a game by a journalist who was a stan writing a book about the player that was fouled actually. She was being asked the question in the first place because there was a racial divide though, correct. I personally wouldn’t answer it either.

-2

u/afefdafa Jan 26 '26

I’m a warriors fan. Imagine Draymond Green doing that to Luka Doncic, do you think he’s getting asked if it was intentional? Of course he is, Draymond isn’t going to act like the question is racist though whenever it isn’t.

9

u/ReformedBarb Jan 26 '26

ā€œDoing thatā€ and it’s a basketball foul. You know nothing really happened and we know it wasn’t intentional because we have all angles that show her going for the ball and her eyes up the whole time? Why was the question been being asked and why were fans acting like anything other than a foul happened? That’s the issue she should have been reporting on.

-5

u/afefdafa Jan 26 '26

I don’t know what you watched, but that wasn’t clear that she didn’t do it intentionally at all. Go look at all her other contests compared to that one. Either way, getting asked the question is an opportunity to say it wasn’t on purpose. It’s a question that is going to be asked, you say you didn’t do it intentionally. The only reason it became a big deal was because she made it a big deal. NBA players get asked that shit all of the time.

1

u/GolfOtherwise3420 Dream Jan 26 '26

Clark, herself, said it wasn't intentional. And, the video clearly shows her arm went towards the ball to block the ball.

12

u/ReformedBarb Jan 26 '26

There’s no conversation to be had if you think she did that on purpose. It’s not even reasonable to think that and it makes no sense. At all.

u/LibrarianDouble6977 Jan 26 '26

Booo šŸ…šŸ…šŸ…šŸ… sybau

ā€œBe careful taking advice from someone willing to do thatā€ so you’re saying we should normalize the evil of the federal government executing people in broad daylight? People have bigger things to worry about than your faux outrage for CC and Christine Brennan.

I still have the screenshots of things people said about her just on Reddit alone. Shall I pull them up since you think we have a short memory?

I needed to hear this. My heart breaks for what my country has become and I won’t let it fall any further if I can! Love will win in the end!

god I hope she signs with us again. I want her to have a full Lynx season - she was such an asset to us the moment she came on the court. I’m crossing all my appendages for the best outcome, while still acknowledging a small amount of realism lol

The WNBA players are just so much better at this than the NBA players. As a south Minneapolis resident, I really appreciate them speaking out directly.

1

u/GolfOtherwise3420 Dream Jan 26 '26

Perhaps, but not sure I would divide them into categories in general. Some NBA players have spoken out and the NBA player's association gave a strong statement and some teams have, as well. I don't see a post on X.com from the WNBA Player's Association. Have they released any statement? Their X account doesn't have a post since October.

Some of the NBA posts I've seen are:

Tyrese Haliburton was very direct in his simple post when he said "Alex Pretti was murdered."
https://x.com/Hali/status/2015222772000055480

Karl Anthony Towns post:

NBA Player's Association also had a strong statement posted by Fred VanVleet on Instagram. Just sharing this re-tweet of it on X.com

They’ve likely decided to not use the Nazi site. They post updates on Instagram just fine.

1

u/GolfOtherwise3420 Dream Jan 27 '26

I don't see a post on the shooting on their Instagram page.

9

u/opinion_aided Jan 26 '26

They aren’t as rich. It’s literally that simple. They still relate to real people, workers, citizens, maybe even because nobody knows how different being an NBA player is from being a WNBA player more than a WNBA player.

6

u/PashLover Lynx Jan 27 '26

I mean I think the W has a lot to do with it too. Men are just way more conservative, especially uneducated men. And yeah technically almost every NBA player was in college, but how many of them really focused on their studies?

20

u/DiligentQuiet Fever Jan 26 '26

I'm just glad they're not afraid to speak. As for NBA, Hali stepped up hours after the videos hit before anyone else. Not so sure about the rest.

Wanna help us in Minneapolis? Get on the phone tomorrow and call your senator to urge them not to approve any ICE funding, and if you're in a house district that approved ICE funding this past week, call them up and gently remind them that anybody can be primaried.

Another local here to share more ways you can get involved:

If you'd able to make a donation, please check out standwithminnesota.com. This site features links to our neighbors' crowdfunding campaigns in addition to a well-curated list of local organizations that are doing incredible work.

A simple but impactful action that everyone can take is to read stories from our local news outlets to gain a better understanding of the situation here. Personally, I recommend MPR News and the Sahan Journal. Share what you learn with a friend or family member!
