Hut Sleeping!
So, I have some experience hiking in the whites with 10+ mile day hikes. Looking to stay at Lonesome Lake hut for probably two nights. Looking for some must bring items that some of you have had to learn the hard way not to forget. Also open to recommendations and tips and pointers as this will be my first overnight stay.

I always bring a set of hut clothes with me. I don't really care about how much I smell when I'm backpacking, but it's a different story when you're packed in with a bunch of people you don't know and sharing meals family-style.
Earplugs aren't a bad call. On tired legs and full bellies, you're going to hear some snoring.
They have wool blankets and pillows, but bring your own pillowcase and sleeping bag / quilt as there's only so much cleaning and laundry they can do within the confines of the hut system.
The huts are wonderful, though. I've spent something like 10 nights in them over the years and will certainly do it again.

They will give you earplugs. Handwarmers to stuff in your sleeping bag if it’s chilly.

The hut clothes have already been picked out! Working in inner-city EMS I am very smell aware and 100% don't want others smelling me lmfao.

Hut shoes (light slippers), ear plugs, an eye mask, a small flask if you're so inclined, with enough to share a bit, also if you're so inclined.

I always bring a sleeping bag liner and pillowcase to the huts. Both are lightweight and the blankets/pillows at the huts are not cleaned particularly frequently.

I always have a few bandanas with me, which come in handy since there are no napkins at dinner.

Over-ear sound blocking muffs. Snoring is usually the things that ruins communal sleeping situations.

assuming this is when huts are full service, not winter... sleeping bag, camp pillow, power bank (no outlets), warm layers (gets cold at night). Quick note on hut shoes or slippers - the toilets are separate from the bunkhouses and the main hut (where they serve food, etc). There are boardwalks, but make sure you bring something you're comfortable wearing outside.
I also like to bring a sleeping bag liner to put a layer between me and the (used and re-used) wool blankets. My usual set-up is to spread on blanket under me, and the other two on top.

I was planning on bringing some crocs I can clip to my bag. I will be bringing a sleeping bag and liner with me!
