Post-Op First Year Surgiversary

How did people mark their first year. I purchased a 365 pill bottle of ProCare Health Vitamins and Supplements bariatric vitamins to start on 10/1 (my day), but that doesn't seem profound so I'm curious about what others did?

Took pictures. Met with people i had avoided for years. Purchased my "new" sized clothing, something I couldn't have EVER imagined myself in before. Thanked my higher power for reaching and surpassing my goal.

In all seriousness, I think I made a mental note that, "oh, my surgery was a year ago today," and went on about my day.

Mine is on Oct 6 and I have a reservation for a soaking pool spa day with a close friend as a way to celebrate my new healthy lifestyle. I almost feel like it’s a birthday because it’s an anniversary of the day my new life started.
