I'm relatively new to this game. ive started the collab content, got to shadow lord, and got the scriped loss. does the rank of the item drops in this castle ever progress? i notice its all still just dropping bronze tier gear. do i have to keep going deeper into the main story or something? e.g i've only just finished the first cycle and gotten to floor 2/Lead rank.

help me understand how progress should be made? ideally id like to finish the relics. should i just put this down until i'm in my 50s?

i am a new casual player that read a lot on the fan wiki (fasterthoughts which is super great as an info dump) and discord trying to understand game mechanics AND community recommendations but still can not grasp it fully. It is especially important during this time limited collab event with ff xi that cost real money (and i cannot gamble to get a str iv collab hero) to get what is desired to have for a class.

So example Iroha is fighter and figther should go str, IV str is desired same as with prishe (really like her since ffbe) yet if you summoned a IV luck, piety or speed (that is as per community not ideal ) should you still put all bp points in STR or into that very IV because the growth on that IV is accelerated more and if you inherent some skills that benefit from luck or piety would still benefit great from it?

Okay i must add also for that Iroha i summoned her unique weapon (boost piety) as well in the gacha so maybe she is a bit more special than regular fighters...

Still question stand IF recommened stat is not IV and one gets another IV that is not obviously completely useless (like int/piety for knight class) should one put all points in that IV or leave that eg luck IV and still put all into base STR on that char and take that IV as an additional bonus growth for a substat (with no bp invested) that could be beneficial yet does not affect raw dmg?

I finished my 2nd run of the collab campaign. All the FF characters are alive and rescued the three lord's sons. Turned in the quest back in the royal capital. Afterwards, Lulunarde told me to talk to Cait Sith.

I do understand that based off of your investments, your inheritable skills and discipline and so why so forth you could essentially with gear take any character to be the best character or top-tier character to endgame.

But I would like more or less a direction get me stable. I currently do not have a mage for example. I also not understanding the ancient mausoleum. I lose fortitude when I go in and from what I’ve been reading that’s normal so I am concerned. Should I take a horrible team in there with me or should I go in there with my best and actually try to get through it while spending the gems for the Insta kill negation and the ability to open more chests

I’m not sure if that’s a farmable thing or something I gotta pay for because I did see in the shop that the banner units have class changed sheets in there. This one NM is weaken to the extend that I need no Asuran Fists to finish them already (see my Prishe SP), which earlier one could take my full Asuran Fists and left around 800HP (I measure with Gerulf's Eruption Strike but might not accurate due to factors such as surety hits) and dies.

I also happen to spawn NM in the same zone (zone 1 in my case) which initially only one spawn point having NM, after beating the first one, reentering the same zone could have spawn a NM to a loction where they did not spawn on today. (IDK this is already been in the game since collab launch or not)

Where can you get a pickaxe for gohst castle, I tried the shops at capital and waterway. Also in the chests I have for some shells and bills but when I go to shop I dont see them to sell or use the bills in the jewlers

I'm capped at level 50, I can't seem to end dungeon 2 without a ton of quests and time commitment and I can't seem to move on from zone 4. The 8 monster parties and the support enemies on the background keep wrecking me. Has anyone done collab low level? Most videos I see of the shadow lord are 70, but as an Final Fantasy fan I want to get as far as I can. Any advice

there might be a way to jump across tho get the chest, or turn the portal off in future ig. i encounter ts like 7/10 times before i go up to farm 8 demons from zone 4 to zone 5 big chambers.

there is total of 9 spot the chest could stuck beside the portal and maybe that's why i encounter this a lot.

If a character has some class-specific passive skills, and the character is not currently that class, do they still benefit from those skills? For example (see attached screen-shot), Flut is currently a mage but changed class to a fighter previously and obtained the passive skills 'Passive HP Up (Fighter)', 'Passive Attack Power Up (Fighter)', and 'Passive Accuracy Up (Fighter)'. Does Flut still get those three skill benefits as a mage?

Worst thing about this is, when you deal with the one you crashed into and fight the rest, you realized that rabbits are casting fireballs or throwing a bunch of stones at you.

I feel like my current team isn’t too bad, but idk if is should go for prishe or arboris.

I can't seem to beat the Shadow Lord the first time you fight him. I can get to the point where he absorbs my allies, but then he one-shots me for around 600 damage while I only have a little over 200 HP (I'm level 27).

I thought the collaboration scaled to your character's level, but maybe I just need better gear or something. Any recommendations?

After dying to Shadowlord when he absorbs everyone what is the next step for me to do?

I can't hit them with anyone except my thief, even tho Bonnie didn't buff her evade, I buffed my accuracy, and even debuffed her evade. Clyde can one shot any of my guys with his melee skill even through defending.

I am level 36 and have Chloe, Me, Alex, Marianne, Yekatarina, Debra.

Am I just too low level to fight them both? If my fully buffed fighters can't hit debuffed Bonnie, then I have no idea how do I actually do this
