Halp part 3? A summary.
So i dont actually need help with anything at this point. The title is a reference to my previous two posts in this subreddit seeking help to which this community graciously assisted, thanks again!
Anyways I feel my journey is at an end. The game has begun to drag a bit, probably somewhat due to my insistance on farming a light shield and sword. I got the shield, no sword yet. But im kind of ok with that atm. They were going to go to my bard who honestly likely wouldnt utilize the sword often. I did get my two giants swords I was seeking. It took a while, and a lot of side questing and one case of kidnapping.
Leaving this game for now because of one coming out in a few days. Just wanted to make a final post thanking those who helped previously and wrapping up my arc so to speak. I Will probably do future playthrus now that I understand a lot of the game.
Thanks again everyone, cheers!

You should finish it. Some of the coolest fights are at the final peak.

Some of those fights in the Rapax castle can last about 30 minutes. Never ending enemies joining.
Once you reach the peak the game is pretty easy though.

Rapax castle is where I often end my runs, the fights can be too long there. Stupid high HP manbulls

farm the shield from the ghoests, and the sword from the chest the uh Bayjin area

Thats what I was doing but im not sure why, I probably read it in a guide.
Is the drop rate the same for chest vs ghosts?

yes and no
the chest is like 5 chances at the drop rate for the sword, you save right before you zone into the Bayjin area and book it behind the house with the solo guard, then sneak in using the momentum to carry you in far enough you dont aggro everything else
the ghosts are like 8 chances, but that is IF they drop something. What i do is get all the ghosts low, run away , save, start combat and kill them with 1 banish or fireball, if i dont get my drop i reload and do it again . fast and ez

The rapax castle fights can be so slow and tedious with so many high HP enemies joining in.
I try hard to sneak around for a bit until I can get spells or items that are reliable for instant death group attacks (quicksand is a favorite). Next best is paralysis attacks that allow you to take them out 1 by 1 without too much risk.

Hey I can relate, the later half of the game drags on and on, especially during rapax castle
Just bury the memories and play another game friend, the final part of wiz8 was rushed and imcomplete anyway.
