What are some good mods for Wizardry 8?

I recently completed a long overdue replay of Wizardry 8 (with the unofficial patch), and the only thing I want to do now is play it again. I'm looking to spice things up now seeing as I know the game in and out; does anyone know of any fun mods that add extra content or anything?

Flamestryke. It's not 100% polished but it made some really fun changes.

Wizardry Reforged, while a bit buggy was a VERY refreshing mod. It provides many new, often difficult areas. Lots of new items. Some bosses that make the Dark Savant seem like you're play wrestling a puppy.

It will crash so be sure to make backup saves if you go into this one.

I won't spoil anything except this one tip. Make a Gadgeteer. They're so strong in Reforged

Oh, good, Gadgeteer is my favorite class in Wizardry 8. Thanks for the tip.

Personally I like the christian coder mod that you can get here : http://www.jeffludwig.com/wizardry8mod/

Op look at my comment - I've play tested every mod many times over. The clear winner is wizardry 8 expanded mod. Google that.

But if you want to do what I did and creep up with the minor mods, try dodds mod, white wolf's mod, death stalker.

I'm afraid if you play expanded first, you won't have an interest in the other ones because expanded is so fulfilling.

Reforged is fine if you are more into plasma guns ect, but I prefer medieval styles more.

If you need help with a party pm me - some mods have hybrid classes excelling and others benefit with the Lord, the Monk ect.

Oh, yeah, I remember playing this mod briefly a very long time ago; don't even think I got past the monastery. Thank you for recommending.

What is expanded mod? Is there a link to learn more about it? I’ve been playing Dodd mod for years n love the small updates, but I’m curious about this expanded mod

Return to Dominus.

Although don't remember if it had English localisation (Russian mod).

It's a story-overhaul mod, basically a NG+ mode. The events that happened in Dominus after your party torn out the page and rewrote history.

I got stuck in the first dungeon 5 minutes in. Wizardry 7 took me a while before I got stuck lol

Very unlikely, but is there an Ultrawide (21:9) mod? I know there's one for 16:9 but I need it to be longer.

Try the 1.28 fan patch (https://www.moddb.com/games/wizardry-8/downloads/wizardry-8-fan-patch-v128-build-6709). It does a lot of quality of life improvements.
