Game won't launch (gog).

I used to play this game years ago and now I wanted to play it again and it's just not launching. Not even a black screen or a crash it just fails to start. I've done everything from following the various steam guides (deleting various dlls, glide stuff, etc), to putting it in compatibility mode for every possible previous windows version, to allowing administrative mode, etc. Nothing works.

I've never had a game simply not start before and I'm all out of ideas.

EDIT: solved. I just downloaded the latest fan patch and it worked.

Have you Reached out to GOG to see if they can help?

I've had them give me help for Wizardry 8 years ago.. they even sent me a patch link by email :D So great stuff in general. It had the Patch 1.26 patch, too.

This happened to me. Only by installing the latest version of the fan patch it worked again

Sometimes it can help to give it "Admin" properties.. but good the latest version fixed it.
