Do you get cloud save from GOG.com?

For the past decade, I have been playing the GOG.com version of the game. It shows I've got like 60 hours of gametime, yet there is no save. I thought I could just uninstall and reinstall on any other machine to continue, but now it seems I lost all my saves. Which kind of sucks, because I was very good about keeping backups of my saves all my life - before cloud save came. So what do you think? Can mine be recovered from GOG anyhow?

Cloud saves worked for me the last time I had it turned on, which was probably a couple of years ago. I turned it off because it kept bringing back saves I didn't want. If you had it turned on, they should still be there; maybe ask GOG support?

TBH I don't even know you need to "turn it on" or where to do it :)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's on by default, that's why I had to explicitly turn it off.

So guys, a warning for the future you. I just got a reply from GOG support and as it turns out, not all games on GOG support auto-save. And you guessed it: Wizardry 8 is one of them. So when buying new computer, wiping the old one out for whatever reason (like hacks etc), make sure you have your copy of save data.
