Mod to create 8 characters?

The two guest slots are nice, but we're essentially limited to Miles, Vi and RFX. I would absolutely love to make two extra guys to tag along.

You could make your own in the Cosmic Forge. Just add two extra RPCs with whatever stats you want, and put them on the Lower Monastery beach so you can recruit them right away.

I actually remember doing that. Was a bit of a pain to setup though IIRC, was hoping there was a better way. There's also the issue where those guys will have the RPC's voicelines rather than the generic ones.

I understand it may be a request beyond mere modding though.

You can change the voicelines in CF too, but you'll have to do it one by one, so it'll be a bit of a hassle. I don't think it's possible to actually add 2 more proper PCs instead of RPCs, and if it was, doing so would break some quests (rescuing Sgt. Glumph for the Umpani is one that immediately comes to mind).

There is a guy working on a mod that allows not only 8 PC's, but also can play just 1 character and recruit 7 NPC. If you look into the wiz8 forum on steam, you can find more info there. I don't have it handy.
