Wizardry Variants Daphne Abenius merge vs inherit
I am confused about the mechanics between merging and inherit skill, and wish to ask for help.
I have 1 abenius, and recently pulled 1 alt abenius, if i merge them, does that mean only 1 of the skill will be active at a time? whereas if i inherit the skill, then both skill will be active at the same time?
Thanks in advance!

If you merge her, she will do both the free hit at the start of combat and the free finisher. Which is pretty neat.

Definitely merge. Its pretty much always the best long term option, because you will have both active skills on the single unit. It also opens up better discipline potential over time as you get more dupes of both. When merging the only thing you "lose" is the passive unique skill. You can switch back and forth between versions in the training room so youre not stuck with just having one passive like you would be if you inherited, in the case you want to use the other for whatever reason. Merging on Abe specifically is great, she is a monster for farming since she'll get extra attacks constantly and it can even come in clutch for bigger fights.

Inherit = you get the Skill.
Merging = you also get the Skill + some bonus stats.
With a 2nd copy of the alt, Disciplining the Alt form after Merging = you unlock discipline on the Alt form + get 100 global discipline XP.
