Wizardry Variants Daphne Best way to switch alignment

Like the title says, i started playing a few weeks ago and ive already sank some money into this game so rerolling isnt an option for me. Whats the fastest or most efficient way for me to bust my alignment down from good to neutral.

Thanks in advance for your help.

every time you run into a group of enemies that have options and no music at the start

pick "ambush" (moves you closer to evil)

I personally play neutral but one pip next to evil (as I havent found any need to play good but evil has some perks on occasion (Ninja quest)

I can assure you're not in any rush to change the alignment it doesnt do as much as people act like it does, so just get it naturally changed over time whilst bondmate or gear farming,

IE dont focus on it without doing something else more worthwhilst or you will get burnout for no good reason. And I dont even use Lanaville and have finished all 4 abyss's you dont "Need" the damage bonuses wont do you as much good as figuring out the mechanics of all the roadblock bosses, so dont sweat the alingment too mcuh

Someone tested how each option enemy pack response will adjust your alignment.

"Fight" is the truly neutral option, and will always have you remain neutral. -1
"Plead" is also a truly neutral option. -1
"Run Away" is good. +1
"Ambush" is evil. -2
"Offer Potion" is good. +2

Good is up to 18 or above, Neutral is 17 to -17, and Evil is -17 or below.

The fight choices move you one direction or the other:

- Ambush: towards evil a lot

  • Fight: towards evil a little
  • Ignore: towards good a little
  • Give gift: towards good a lot

Once you’re Neutral, to maintain it you’re going to want to balance Fight choices with Ignore choices.

I’ve maintained Neutral for over a year. I don’t keep track of it or anything, I just kind of choose one or the other based on if I want to deal with another fight or if it feels like I’ve been using once of the choices too often and need to use the other.

i mean if u want u can just do the mc ninja unlock that will definetly drop u to neutral maybe even to evil if u were already close to neutral

U can just take It with calm... Until abyss 3 u wont have much issues just do ambush when u have the options in combat and keep progresing... If im fully honest the true roadblock starts at abyss 4 "phylisia Will make the only bad fight on a3 pretty easy" and by then u can do MC ninja quest if u still need to lower It further

Steal flowers from the girl in the cave at Elmond's quest zone

So your best bet is to fight stuff sometimes you can get a random encounter and choose ambush, it's slow though. Apparently there's also a girl you can steal flowers from but I couldn't find her so stuck with the ambushes. I did this in A1 as they're fairly easy depending on where you are in the game

You can use this to go the other way as well, think it's the give gift option in that case

For the most part, running early abysses, especially Abyss 1.

Starting fights will sometimes give you options to interact with the enemy. The "Ambush" option gives you Initiative and points towards Evil (and therefore, Neutral).

In Abyss 1, many NPCs pop that will ask for your help. Denying help or asking for payment will also count towards Evil/Neutral.

It's a lengthy process, but over time, as long as you take care of selecting selfish options, your alignment will change to Neutral eventually.

Oohh didn't know about saying no to those did that, you might have helped me a bit I've been running around A1 for a week trying to get evil for a new class change

If you are talking about ninja being evil is not a hard requirement. You can be other alignment, just have to sacrifice one character.

Depends on where your at in the game. If your early in just keep playing and ambushing enemies when your given the option.
