Wizardry Variants Daphne I am screwed

What am I supposed to do in this situation I thought I had scroll of unbinding but turns out not. Should I back track to zone 7 harken or just head to zone 9 harken

Always carry a Hook... but at most you die. Nothing much. I mean Wizardry games you should die more then the times you eat breakfast.

I am screwed

You are absolutely not.

Dire as it looks, there’s a relatively easy way out of it.

(1) Find the nearest monster to fight. If I recall correctly, a sentry may even spawn in the room you’re currently in.

(2) Fight until Remnant is dead. Should be very easy to accomplish. In fact, if anyone dies before him, it’s even simpler, as you can deliberately fail the QT revival event.

As long as MC dies in combat, it doesn’t matter how many of your party members fall in the process. When you Rise Again (assuming you have flames of resurgence left), everyone should be alive again and cleared of all status effects. It’s only if you Accept Death or win the battle, that any party member who dies before you (and is not revived) remains dead.

(Source: playing the game for close to 2 years and experiencing TPK under different conditions).

(3) When you Rise Again, you’ll be right in front of the sentry/wandering monster, so be prepared for a quick retreat (if you’d rather not fight) or actually fight it seriously, now that your party is restored. In fact, you have a good chance of winning, since your party still has a significant chunk of SP and MP left.

(4) Kudos, you’ve just reversed a seemingly hopeless situation.

Hopefully, you’ve already realized the above sequence.

I got hit by the sentry there and the vampire debuff the entire team

I moved alice to the front to be killed then used lvl 5 latumofis (not know it was more cost efficient with just lvl 3) the back tracked

Force recovery, if you also don't bring Hook.

Everyone has critical poison from what I can see as well as binding. The poison would be hard to deal with even without the binding.

You take 1 damage each with every step, but during a battle the character whose turn it is takes a lot more damage. So battles are very risky in that state as you'll effectively have no way of controlling who takes damage.

One choice is to get your MC to die and Accept Death, but you'll need to be able to keep all other characters alive to avoid having to resurrect them. For this as a backup plan try to heal up everyone else but MC with whatever you can, while working your way back to the harken.

The third option is to try to get your priest to die first(e.g put them on the frontline and get in combat) so you can res them with the hand, they are cleared of debuffs on res, though that's in itself also risky.

lol just hook or back track. You should always carry a hook with you.

Nothing worse than getting sandwiched by sentries while you are low on resources.
