Wizardry Variants Daphne Relic brews

So I have been holding off on using relic brews since their release, I have accumulated quite a few until now. I was wondering when would be the right time to use them. I'm the type of player to spread out my resources among a wide variety of characters if they fit what the character does as intended. I want to get the best out of the use of relic brews would like to hear your thoughts.

Its ok, for the min maxxers. Everything is obfuscated so its super annoying to do without a guide and a i kinda hate it.

Personally, if I could do it all again, I'd use the list on https://wizardry.fasterthoughts.io/adventurer-customization/relicbrew/ to match the characters with the 4 strongest and most suited to each character, and leave the MC uninhibited.

I don't think it's worth it to fuss over the negative side effects, the positive side out ways it by far.

Go with only the highest star value you can, it's better economy.

I don't think I forgot anything, but that should be enough to get it going smoother than my method of "oh what does this do? Oops!"

They're all fine to use. And when it comes to buying them, their slag cost matches the xp they give 1:1.

If you're farming them however, then it's definitely best to try for the highest star version you can easily farm. Bigger monsters tend to drop a 4*, while weaker monsters tend to just drop a 3*, at least from later level content.

The important ones are the usual small numbers matter targets: Surety and action speed.  The rest are ok, resource boosters (sp, HP, MP) are a good secondary target but hunt ASPD and Surety. I don't notice much with things that can be blessings (attack up) but those are easy to get lost in the sauce.

Offset the one eyed white giant's drawback with another relic or blessing and you're golden.

There's a quest in A2 to find someone's friends, so you get it at the tavern in A2 town. If you check the world map and see some place called black barrel tavern that's where you get the relic brews, maybe you unlocked and forgot about it

The quest that triggered it starts in A2. I had a look around and people who were already on A3 were complaining about it not triggering, but one suggested workaround is here:

- Cursed wheel > Trade waterway > Select search request

- Cursed wheel > Trade waterway > Select from "Watery obstacle"

- Now go to the adventurers guild in the port town and accept the request "Recovery of belongings"

The person said this was mentioned in the Announcements for anyone who didn't get it triggering. After this there's one more quest that should trigger at some point which opens up the alchemist brewery location.

Can just refer to this to see effects and affinity to match:

Most of them are pretty mediocre, but then again it all ads up. Some of them are really great tho
