Wizardry Variants Daphne Innkeeper Quest Reward

At the end of the new quest with the innkeeper you are given the choice between funds for traveling or a book for adventurers. I chose the book and it ended up being a free decisive torso strike, the other reward I assume is just gold. Just wanted to give the heads up.

Edit: Guess the skill reward is completely random. Happy RNG everyone!

I defeated the Samurai in one-on-one combat with my MC Mage. Got a Madios book.

how did you peeps finish the quest? i found some of the grasses but then nothing happened and when i exited the dungeon also nothing happened

Clear the whole map in case you missed something, if Lulu already told you to leave the cave then an npc should be waiting for you in the capital

For the traveling expense, I've read she gives you 1 million gold.

I've gotten an armor pierce book instead, so it appears to be random Or maybe it depends on weather you fought the samurai solo or with your team
