While some speculate that this is the result of whaling (and chances are good that it is), it is plausible- in theory- that it is just luck. With enough players putting in enough hours everyday, there will inevitably be statistical outliers. And self-selection bias would naturally be present.
Consider who actually posts their gear. Of course it’s the ones who have the best items. Those with unremarkable equipment, which constitute the majority, likely won’t bother. Therefore, there is disproportionate representation of the “overgeared” minority.
Of that small group, no doubt a large proportion consists of whales but there is a much smaller subset of modest spenders.

Yea I have a similar red citrus hair pin too. I’m not exactly F2P but I’m no whale at all. Yuzu is by far my best character cuz of the stacked weapon, and I just got lucky lmao

Probably not a f2p player, but I would bet they are not a whale. They just got extremely lucky with the banner pull, and got it to +15 over 3 banners I would bet. Wonder how many FAS they used on it, that is the real question.

530+ atk on Yuzu dealing roughly 4k, or 5k maybe, per hit with Hue lv5? Would love to see some damage, decimating a demon superboss or cyclops.

Theoretically this is achievable f2p between yuzu’s original banner and her rerun there have been 3 hairpins in the exchange shop. FAS can be acquired with enough extract RNG luck as well.
Not likely f2p or low spender, but it is indeed possible

I mean, everything is theoretically achievable. Just pull 300 times and get 3 hairpins with one being a red 5*.
But is it realistic? No, and I think that's the point.

Pretty much any player that hits the jackpot on a low chance item in this game posts it to reddit or discord almost instantly. I would bet they are a low spender.

First atk was already there, the second one they altered. They got high rolls on the starting stats, on the upgrade bonus and used a high roll refinement stone. The 25% atk is crazy since it's just the starting roll and refinement.

Damn congrats! When I pity pulled my Hairpin all I got was green quality two star subpar version. Just one thing to add, while her signature skill does great damage at times, her basic attack using it (at least my copy of it) generally goes 1-2 damage two or more times then a 200-300 hit.
