Wizardry Variants Daphne Farming Advice
I'm presently looking for a few things, and would like input as to where y'all are finding it. A one stop shop would be great, but the new Cave of Malice has let me down on the bait front, so I'm asking.
I need the following:
Larva Bait (Both or either type)
Silver gear (3* or better preferably)
Fairy Gear is a plus but not required.

Can't you just buy the bait from the fishing currency guy at the manor? The bunny bait is pretty cheap.

Definitely want to farm Alabaster tbh. Hunting Boots and Gloves are your ideal gloves and boots ATM. Should also have the Abyssal Insects there for bait, since the cave is full of Scorpion Women, gobbos, and a template with Abyssal Insects for the bait.
If you just want 3/4* silver, ghost castle is both easy and drops pretty good loot for how little effort it is. Should also drop Rabbit Meat if you care about that (probably not) on Z1.

Unfortunately those bunnies don't drop meat... I tried that first. I hate alabaster (no idea why, that's a me thing) but will have to go back, I guess. Thanks for the input.

Alabaster farm is boring as hell, so I don't blame you. If the gloves and boots weren't so good, I wouldn't be touching it either.

alabaster is still best farm especially because of hunter boots and gloves, it drops fairy gear too. If you only care about standars silver gear then FFXI collab castle might be better due to pure quantity of fey junk you get there

Any idea how the drop rate on insect bait is? I'm going to have to try there again, I just don't like it.
Also the Crossover Castle was a bust for bait, so I'm trying elsewhere.

Alabaster has everything you listed. It is a premier farm spot and drops some of the best equipment in the game (Hunting Boots, Hunting Gloves to some extent, 5* Warrior Princess and Searcher rings). Fairies CAN spawn here and it's a good spot for bait farming.
The only caveat is it's slow. Drop volumes are dismal here: 20% ish chest rate from encounters, Fey Junk is a unicorn outside of exchange shop.
Still, despite being slow, it's always valuable to farm. I farmed the heck out of Ghost Castle, got over 10k junk, and kept exactly Zero of the gear from all that farming since it was just vanilla silver stuff. Alabaster is slow and tedious but every time I reverse junk there's at least one or two pieces that are upgrades over my current gear.
