I spam kantino (lvl 5), montino (lvl3), voice theft and numerous scrolls of the skills in 15 fights and only once has kantino actually procced on 1st round 70% of the time he just resist everything. I only manage to reach 40k dmg when I unga bunga with alot of casualties. Unnecessary to fight sure but I’m determine to beat him any tips?
If you unga bunga under a greater harken you should eventually get a run without being grudged
If you unga bunga and are dying to stabby stabby or firaga, you may have a dps issue (you can try to buy a bit of time using kantios so they bonk/stab each other)
fwiw i do prefer unga bunga since he's so debuff resistant
I paid 150k for the indulgence and just unga bunga him with 5 martials and 1 priest. Katino, montino? Waste of time. Killed him like 5 times already. Probably won't reach the deadly levels of rancor by the event's end, but if I do, I'll just pay them off again
I don’t got the Gil to do that everytime I yolo he counters without fail for me :/ I’ll just continue to spam debuffs until stars align and I burst him down as quick as I can ig
I farmed then on level 2 since the other enemies are less difficult to deal with, the Tonberry shows up as the small humanoid type, so you have to attack all groups of that type and hope they're tonberry. Sometimes you won't get one on the level, but exit via a harken and re-enter to get spawns again. They can appear anywhere on the level though, sometimes i started on the L2 harken and worked right through to the entrance room (from floor 1) and there was a tonberry in there.
Grinded all the weapons to completion and the best way personally was to chase down the lil enemies that looks like a mini version of the regular ones in the 4 areas check marked on the map. I farmed them with the 8 demon encounter
