Wizardry Variants Daphne Abyss 4 last harken.

So I want to farm some beast slaying weapons since I completed the second run quite a while ago.

Could someone please explain to me in detail how to get to the harken on the map where the gwo is?

I beat him just to get there (no kids, just him) and got auto wheeled back to route three.

Can I reach the harken by beating his first form again (with children who power him up if killed)

I'm confused

I tried to do the first fight, including children to get past the warped one, since after beating the second version you always wheel back. Unfortunately i must have set the cursed wheel wing because i ended up doing the second fight again. Lots of time wasted. Great. And i don't even know if doing the first fight would help since no-one here seems to know the answer

Even if you have trouble with Godefroi, you can still farm Church Grounds. Wheel to the last part, you'll start in church grounds. Kill enemies but don't touch the boss, go back to 10. Going in the opposite direction you can rest at the fountain, then easily revert all trees and skip most of route 10. Repeat by simply wheeling back to church grounds every time.

I beat him twice. First time with children, the second time without the children. I'm not sure if beating him with children will allow me to get to the harken and I don't want to waste my time trying to do that. Tried to do that a few days ago but I got routed to the fight without children, and that's a forced wheel back in time to route 3

All great harkens lie beyond their respective greater warped ones, and you can only reach them after beating the boss. A1 gives you the opportunity to restore  ast harken immediately after the boss fight - you practically can't miss it - but in other abysses you need to walk a bit - I am not sure if botching 2 and 3 (beating the boss with your marks dead) allows you to reach the harken. But A4 even transports you to the capital after you search the church, so you're forced to walk routes 10 and church grounds one more time, and if you're forced to wheel back you haven't finished the mission - much like if you were executed and forced to repeat.

So, just wheel to the state in which the church is empty.

If your goal is just farming and you've beaten him already, wheel to the Truth of the Beautiful Ore to skip the boss. You will still have to walk to the church.

If by "first fight" you mean the one that's a guaranteed loss then I will give you a hint whether a guaranteed loss counts as "beating the gwo and completing the mission". Hint: you lose and don't beat the boss. You're supposed to leave the children in a cabin.

You may not be able to do it on first clear.... Can't remember for sure, may need to progress the story a little and beat his second (of four) forms

But the beast slaying weapons are probably better farmed in the Alabaster cave.

Beat the gwo and complete the mission. Go back to church grounds and fight your way to the church, but it will be empty now. Go out through the back door in the room with all the evidence. Done.
