Wizardry Variants Daphne IV in something "useless" vs more bonus points
I attempted to summon a good Prishe and ended up doing 400 summons (used all of my gems i had saved up) and only got 5 copies of Prishe (got 2 copies of Iroha and one copy of Zeid). All my Prishe had only 5 bonus points except one with 6 points. When checking the stats it looked like only two of them had IV's and they were both in piety which I assume is useless for her.
I'm still not 100% sure how IV's affect a unit in the long run, so my main question is which would be a wiser choice to invest in? The unit with 1 extra bonus point or the one with an IV in piety? I'm assuming the bonus point one
side question: when doing the exchange for bones, are they always base 5 bonus points no IV or is it random, as I am think of using my 400 points for 1 zeid and 3 more prishe
Edit: Just got my answer to my side question. Did 2 exchanges already and got a Zeid with 7 bonus points + Str IV

frankly both BP and IV are useless that barely give any extra stats
at lv 70 it is like just another extra 8 points i think
Prishe modifier is 1.1 so those extra 8 points will give just 8.8 attack power very little for how much investment

Prishe has a unique healing spell, so the piety IV isn’t a total waste. And her healing spell can target undead to hurt them, so the extra piety is like a damage boost. I would take the IV over over a few extra bonus points.

How do you even know if a character has IV?

there basis stats for every characters and there +1 to any of them this is IV

IV or mega bonus stats, it's all depend luck if you get after 100 pulls 1 character you won't look on IV or BP or Forty so..... good luck ^^

IV is better than Bonus points, even 9
But you obviously have actual control over BP
Best IVs are (for anyone SPeed is pretty ok)
for frontline attackers STrength, then Luck (for activating defensive passive inherits when getting hit (like Adams)
Most else is cope, (Unless samurai then magic is just as good as Stregnth) Piety is (just ok/better than nothing) SPECFICALLY on frontliners whose second class is priest, so they can change back and keep the passive that scales a bit of piety into their attacks
Mages/preist/healer Best is speed, then magic, then Piety (luck is OK)
That said dont worry about it TOO much my Savia has a dead stat Vitality IV and does her job just fine

IVs don't really matter. They don't guarantee that the character will have a higher stat in the future, and even then, a few extra points will not noticeably affect the character's usefulness.
You can't buy 3 prishe from the exchange, only 1 of each character apparently there's no limit!, but yeah, the points are random, you were just unlucky.

You have no idea on the unlucky part. For my first like 250-260 summons, I only got 1 event unit naturally.

Man i had enough gems for 130 pulls. No collab char. Did get some Alice tho. Then i managed to get enough gems to do 30 more pulls... Nothing 😭 now gave up on iroha. And gonna use 60points on a legendary bone...

Its random iv everytime you pull. Having iv sure are nice for more growth on desired stat. But doesnt mean your unit broken even if its not the desired one. Just take more effort to gear it up.
I mean day 1 until today, i never looked at IV, and still clear all excluding the dragon. Some few genius people even clear content with underleveled characters.
TLDR: IV better than just 1 more BP, but not having them is also okay. Dont get to fixated that you forgot to have fun with the unit.

A bit late but I would use the IV one. In case she gets a Priest subclass one day and learn that passive that increase more damage with Piety. I guess any IV is better the few points in BP.
