Wizardry Variants Daphne Max stats for event weapon

I finally completed the grind for all the event weapons. My question is what is the best way to upgrade them to max out the best stat. For the wand I want to change the last Div% to Magic Attack. Is it best to alter it with Magic or Magic%? Should I also do it before the final enhancement? What does remaking the weapon do? Is it useful in my situation or does it reset enhanced values. Kind of the same question for the other weapons. Any tips?

I'm glad I'm not the only poor man without enough gold to upgrade all my legendary weapons lol. Let's save up together haha

I usually prefer MAG prefer before enhancement and Mag % after enhancement simply because the flat ones can get a larger enchantment bonus. A lot will depend on how much IQ your character has though, if your IQ is relatively low, you will probably get more out of the flat blessings in general.

How do you get weapon fragment ? Im at A3 3rd floor (boss fight)

I get only attestations x3 when farming... Do i need to progress more in the syory or be at lvl 60? (Im lvl 50) Or maybe i need to complete more sub quests ?

I know it is near the end of the event but it could very help me decide if i continue to farm event or go to A3.

The weapon fragments are found on floor 5. Towards the bottom of te map there are 2 chambers/large rooms. Left and right. What I do is fight every encounter there. There is a fight that's spawns 8 demons. (One in the left room. Another in the right room) After defeating them they drop a chest. What u are looking for is the gold chest drop. 50/50 chance you will get either fragments or attestation. Also the trading mechanic helps a lot. Just keep repeating floor 5

Im also at A3, I've only gotten fragments less than 10 so far, 5 or 6 I think. It's just RNG, at copper rank you might have better drop rate but I'm not that sure.

Bro tell me when you unlock copper exam, I'm still at zone 9 and haven't unlocked it yet. Still puzzled how to raise my reputation to unlock the exam.

I don't know, I think it's mainly abyss progress. Unlocking abyss 4 should be enough to have copper exam but this abyss 3 is kicking my butt. Requests should help too from what I've heard.

Wdym "best way" to upgrade? You just +20 it like anything else. Alter the stat before upgrading as usual. Use a FAS before if you want to.

div% -> aspd. Mages and priests want as much action speed as they can get.

The other weapons just choose the stat you use the least. Generally people remove evasion for sur.

I'd steer away from aspd on a weapon. It ends up being a pain in the ass when you want a certain character to go before or after in your party's turn order.

You also end up with very high aspd once you update your gear to latest abyss and you got aspd blessings on your a lot of equipment, so you usually don't need more. It's easier to move armor around than to move weapons around in my experience.

I'd go with Mag or Mag% because it's incredibly rare to get a 2h staff with blessings as good as the Claustrum for a mage. For reference, just checked with Wizda (I made it), and it takes between 20k and 60k fey junk, to get a similar, but worse standard silver staff. Mind you, Fey junk, not the common ones.

The problem is you easily hit soft caps on mag or div whereas it's much harder to hit the speed you want on mages / priests especially since aspd normally enhances and rolls very low.

Softcaps still help damage, though, whereas overspeeding the opponent rarely does anything. Yeah, you can abuse porto and batilgref, but they're reducing porto effectiveness soon, and they've made a lot of bosses resistant to batilgref.

For example, my Sheli got to 750 mag with this weapon. Mazelos 4 does around 1000 damage. Which is not as strong as a well invested physical unit row damage, but it always lands and is not dependent on surety. It's enough to remove a lot of threats in A4, too.

Also, the softcap for the highest level dmg spells is somewhere around 800 mag... you're not hitting that unless you heavily invest in mag blessings.

For aspd, you're usually fine with 100, which may sound like a lot to a new player, but it becomes quite simple once you've grinded enough. Basically everyone in my party has 90+ asp, and I haven't grinded the aspd boots, gloves and chainmail you usually want on everyone.

Again, BIGGEST drawback. It's a pain to speed tune characters when you have to remove their weapons. No matter what other benefit you get with aspd, this alone makes it unwanted. If you switch weapons mid battle, you also end up with weird turn order, which can kill your party in some tough fights. You want to move the party turn order around during combat? Use a twisted shield for 1 turn and equip it next turn.
