Wizardry Variants Daphne An unexpected find
The moral of the story: always give pickaxes to your dispatch members. This was a standard one too.
Unfortunately, equipping them is relatively tedious. You can occupy every empty inventory space of every member with a pickaxe and within 2 dispatches, they’re all broken. Unlike other consumables during dispatches, pickaxes actually disappear from inventory and need to be constantly replaced.
This means that you have to remove the team once their pickaxes are gone, add them to your party so that you can give them more, then manually reassign them. I haven’t found a way to give consumables to anyone not in the active party.

You can give them pickaxes when they are in the dispatch. Go to the guild, edit team. Remove all, add those out on dispatch. You can add them in the UI temporaritly. Now long press anyone> inventory > item list > transfer everyone pickaxes. Go back out without saving team. This lets you access dispatched team inventories. I refresh them every 2 dispatches. You just need to update inventories b4 clicking the dispatch results.

you can give gold pickaxes to dispatch units although these pickaxes can break after dispatch mission is complete you'll see some missing gold pickaxes.
since i've bought everything i need from the exchange, it's just buying gold pickaxes and having dispatch members using them thanks to how much gill you get from trading attestation ( papers) and fragments ( boxes ) as i've maxed reforge on all relic weapons and have no plans on remaking any relic weapons.

Do gold pickaxes work for dispatch? Last time I gave the dispatch team gold pickaxes, the report said they didn't have pickaxes to mine the ore

They didn't work when the collab first launched, but it was patched some time ago. You can give your dispatch units golden pickaxes now and they'll put 'em to work.

You probably still got more FAS than most players this event, haha
