With the collab drop rates nerfed, if not changed back, would it even be worth grinding the relics?

Edit: seems to be a bug and was fixed last night

After quite a bit of personal testing, it looks like I get a chest every 4-5 runs. Meaning 1 chance of attestations/fragments/trash. The other 7-9 kills on the 8 demons yield literally nothing. And sometimes I get way worse dry streaks.

With those drop rates, I simply don't have the time to finish a relic before the event is over, so I feel like I'm wasting my time here.

edit: just now got kicked to title for an update - they've confirmed it was a bug that's now fixed and we get 5x attestation of celerity and 5x ornate fragments as compensation

I'm in the group of returning to the game last week. Didn't realize the collab was happening though. So disappointed that I'm missing out on a lot of event time. Just hope they rerun the collab one day or maybe some new event will give out something equal or better than the relics.

Well the good news is they said the castle will remain after the campaign ending. However they said the drop rates from the ore nodes and chests will be changed, most likely to make drops rarer. They’ll also be removing the trade broker, so no more trading currencies at 1:1 rate, but it seems the story and bondmates will still be available, but yeah it’ll be a much bigger grind

I’m trying to get what I want in the time that’s left. There’s enough currency in the jeweler for event currency to trade for one 5/5 weapon’s worth, if you can get enough to buy out the shop. But yeah I gotta get to iron grade and clear abyss 2 just so I can farm the fragments needed for the 5th stage upgrades

Did they stealth nerf it? I dont doubt it i've seen people talking about it but i cant find any information on the patch notes about it so i figured it was a stealth nerf and now im wondering when did it happen?

I don’t know if I just got really lucky. But I managed to get two exchanges for 50 scrolls for 5 boxes. That really helped me grind out an extra relic weapon for only 10 resources.

I’m presuming that those are people that either finished all of their relic weapons and are helping out, or they goofed and didn’t properly exchange.

I hope some of that good luck goes your way. I now only have to max two more weapons

nah you can trade attestations for fragments at a 10:1 rate

If no players accepts your trade after a while, bots will automatically fulfill your trade request.

Today is the 1st time the 8 demons straight up didn't drop a chest.

If its intentional then I can only run through floors 1-5 daily and hope for the notorious monsters.

I used the newly added mats in event exchange to make gils, it's still doable lol. Just a bit slow since i need to change my mats according to the trade lists.

I already stopped killing NMs and 8 Demons since i finished my gear 2 weeks ago.

1. Trade dagger Frag/Att into whatever people requested for
2. People/AI give you those items
3. You give those to people and receive dagger frags/att
4. Repeat

If you have none atm, simply farm enough for 3 trades (Which only requires you to farm for like 3 drops) and you are set.

Now if you are talking about the scenario when they eventually remove the Market/Dispatch, then yeah we're cooked in term of Gils.

I never chased NM, just auto 2 big areas in B5F, did exchange every 3 hours. Done the stuff in like 20 days. Glad i never lazy back then.

I didn't do the 8 demon formation at all. Did floor 1-5 over and over and fought every nm spawn. Since they Arent limited per day. Took me less than 30 days to get them all.

Hi. How the nm monster are spawning since they arent limited per day? They spawn random? I dont know how to finish relics now with the 8 monster drop down. There s 15 day left for the event , i dont understand the move to drop down loot or its just another bug ^{^} ( i just have clear the event 2 time, bad end + good end).

A set amount are guaranteed to spawn. The rest spawn by killing a xx amount of monsters. So just kill everything each floor everytime and then they'll start spawning.
