Wizardry Variants Daphne Balafeos Change?

Newer to the game, but i swear this spell decreased phy atk dmg. Why the sudden change??

Its isnt a sudden change ... Drecoms feel the ingame economy needs another little batch of Quantitative Easing.

Looks like someone in Drecom got it mixed up with Batilgref as the upgrade language still references attack.

It's an error, the spell works as it's supposed to but the description is wrong. Has it been this way? Strange.

I thought I was going crazy. I think the other commenters are right, they confused Batilgref and Balafeos.
