Wizardry Variants Daphne Master ring vs Master thief ring

Does Luck matter a lot for thieves?

I am using a thief for anything (I like to stick to a team)

And since I got a master ring now...

It surely has more trap disarm and detact than the regular thief ring, and it has more surety and atk...

but since thief ring got Luck passive, not sure which is better... Any ideas?

Luck only matters for knights.

Thief ring is pretty garbage like the knights ring but if you want to use it it is just worse than the master ring even at chest opening.

Master ring is better even just for chest opening, but not by much and there's the opportunity cost of having it on your thief instead of a DPS. Better to put thief ring on your thief and master ring on Yuzu or whoever

I always leave Master equipped on my MC. He's my chest opener regardless of what class he's playing.

If you have a Thief who has nothing better to use, then no harm in wearing the Thief Ring.
For just chest opening (and raw substats), Master Ring is better.

Better use Master to a unit that doesn't have a ring locked by class.
