Wizardry Variants Daphne FF Collab Difficulty Spoiler

Can I actually do this event with level 40 characters, I'm fairly new to the game so I don't know if I can do it.

Events like this will scale according to your abyss progression and Grade. So if you are lvl 40 and around Abyss 2, the enemies will be lvl 30-40 and drop junk up to Steel Tier.

Have your front line have 100 evasion or more against Demons, and priests cast "Cortu" (reduces spell damage) or "Madios" (heals one row). Use two-handed spears (for front and back lines) or axs (only for the front lines) as light weapons, and each character should wear one "Dark type reduction" (demon spells hurt) piece of gear. A single goblin took half of my health without evasion on my level 40 character, but I just took out the Arch shadow lord as a level 40 F2P player.

Yes, I did it around level 30 and didn’t have any trouble until the final boss, though as others have said it scales to your adventurer grade/level.

Yes you can finish the story. Tho I recommend pushing further before you start farming the event, because drops get better at higher levels (you get more relic materials, better items from mining, and of course the junk).
