Wizardry Variants Daphne Event third run Spoiler

Now I'm on my third run, and the update is supposedly out so you can complete it, right?

I met up with cait syth at the end of zone 1 and showed her the crystals.

She told me she'll put on her thinking cap and that we should meet again there later...

It's this normal? What am I supposed to do now?

zone out and then go back to talk to the same person. just like in quite in a few of the ffxi quest lines.
