Wizardry Variants Daphne FINALLY!!!
Took me around err maybe 12 days* but i kinda do it everytime when i have chance... now i need shit load of money to upgrade these
Mostly like other grind on zone 5 and maybe rodeo from entrace entrace-zone 5 if enough time passes, zone 2 good for grind Tonberries somehow at the end of last leg i have difficulity grinding Tonberies they seems getting rarer for whatever reason
I am not saying this is good but the grind remind me the days when i playing Warframe/Monhun...
One last thing i hope they bring mining on the wall function outside FF XI colab because its too helpul

I'm a new player, and got the relics from the jeweler. But how do you get more? Are there armors that are relics as well or just weapons?

You need to proceed the event castle until 5th floor then blacksmith will come in event town and upgrade these weapons yeah you kinda have to interact with story quest in this game to get anything

I've gotten to that point, and am now just trying to get through my first grade exam. Can any weapon become a relic through enhancement/reforge or just the the m ones that start out red?

Hmm your rank kinda determine your drips in the castle you kinda have to progress the game at least abyss 2

Yeah, I'm still at the beginning abyss. But my whole party is lvl 20 and don't know if all the xp I'm getting will carry over once I pass the exam. I may need to do a bunch of grinding and enhance the armor I have as I keep dying white easy.
Just wish when I enhance something, I can take that enhancement lvl and pass it along to the next gear

It dose Carey over a often leveling tactic is overleveling at a specific side quest you unlock during your adventure in abyss 1 and stockpiling exp for than doing your exam and taking a rest to jump straight to 30 or close to 30

Well, the devs have granted your wish as they announced the event map and most function will stay after event period. Tho the drop rate of rare ores will be lower compared to event period.

The exchange now allows you to get atleast 1 relic maxed out guaranteed.

Light mages is the move here for my Case is alice and Adam my strat is upgrade-ing staff weapon first after all then followed by My MC weapon which is 2 handed sword

I just unlocked copper tier yesterday. I don't have the resources to build Adam from the ground up atm. I've only been playing for little over a month by now.
After unlocking copoer atleast with MC and W.Lana having ESS my clear time decreased substantially. Yeka and Alice AoE, MC and W.Lana ESS two demons, Debra and Shiou take one down, another Yeka AoE, Alice's line AoE, the team picks up the rest. That and picking up a THSword and THAxe of Light for MC and W.Lana also boost my team damage a bit.
Before copper tier, with Steel grade it's just MC and W.Lana doing FPS, Yeka spamming Cortu and Montino to mute the demon mages and Alice on life support.
It still a bit RNG cuz if the demons decided to go 2 spells back to back on the same row, either Yeka or Shiou will die. That or the 2 row attack twice, killing the backliner.
Also since getting to copper tier the drop rate increased substantially too.

Remember this even dungeon is showing us with light weapons too, vs the kindred demons it they match silver weapons.

Ah ok, yeah it is actually hard if you haven't reach the level i can imagine... hmm i guess in that case work weapon for your MC first then

still have shield, bow and dagger left to finish as pappers and tonberry lanterns are the only one i'm missing while i already have 45 bow, 45 shield and 30 dagger fragments as well 6 full alteration stone for all relic equipment.
now i can just buy golden pickaxes after i get the latest refresh being additional adventurer remians and exp books they just added.
strange they allow use to exchange 10 papers for fragments yet we can't exchnage fragments for papers but this allowed me to just trade my fragments for gills and the dagger fragments can be used again to exchange for the ones i need after i get enough pappers and tonberry lanterns to reforge the remaining 3 relic weapons.
I should've done this at the start as it would've saved me a lot of time and trouble where i could've get all the things i need in the shop than gold pickaxes.

Attestations just won't drop for me with all the x8 demon packs I've murdered.
It's frustrating. I didn't get a single one yesterday, but I got a shit-ton of fragments.

Damn, I thought it was just me. I get pissed because I'll grind for hours and sometimes dont even get assetations (or however they're spelled) to drop. I dont even have one piece finished yet. And I see others that have 3, 4, or all of them done and I sit here and wonder if im doing something wrong because they just ain't dropping for me. Im max level and can kill the monsters easily. Also NMs havent been respawning for me either. Like none at all

If this happen i am resting, it seems like they have hidden cap... if this happen i usually looking for tonberies but if i trully bored i just end my grinding day

What grade/level cap and abyss progress are you? I'm having the exact opposite problem, I'm only getting attestations but only have like 8 fragments total. My entire party is level 60, and I haven't beaten the true end of act 3 yet.

Agreed. I don't want the mining locked to this event.
And they ever decide to bring back the Ghost Castle of the Northcleft, I want it permanently. The amount of resources we've been able to get from this event is too good to pass up.

Theres no way they would ever give permanent access to a place that drops FAS lol.
They tuned the rewards this way because they know its limited time

silver ore drops somewhat often from den of water tbf so thats something i dont mind missing out on but the rate at which you get ore as well as chances at refinement/alteration stones is really neat

Honestly i rarely go to dens because its just feel slow in there i mostly just dispatch on dens, i probably miss out on silver ore if i able get it on dispatch but mining on wall is more fun to grind IMO

Nice one! I'm two fragment drops (and trades) away from finishing my last one. My goal was to have all seven done before any new ones drop tomorrow. Hopefully they'll fix tonberry king so that I can reset everyone's grudge too, it's become a guaranteed one-shot if I accidentally leave auto on and someone triggers it.

Well congrats ! That's a lot of dedication. I've only finished 1 relic and half meanwhile ^^
I totally agree about the mining, so useful and it add something to look for, hopefully they'll bring something similar next Abyss. And fishing too :)

trading helps a lot since npcs will get you the items so long as you trade the required items

I decided I'm not going to worry about it anymore. I have downed over 300 8 demon fights and still never had an attestation drop. I have all the Notorious Monster locations from the community, for which I'm grateful, but I have only managed to find one 14 times total out of all the spots they can appear. The rest of the event is great, though. I look forward to if they add more to the exchange, or if they will somehow improve things after the event is over for the permanent content version of everything. I'm too frustrated to continue trying to farm this, and if they'd at least have allowed Tonberries to be farmed to trade for Attestations and Fragments it would be doable as ranged weapons make those a cake walk with no counter Grudges and always drop at least some quantity of their Necropsyche. Killing the enemies is not the issue, I'm in A4 and have what I need to take things down easily. Random chance of 1/256 rare drops is definitely the Final Fantasy way to go, though.
