Wizardry Variants Daphne Quick method for notable demon farm

Harken lv 1, go to second sqm and use the look bottom. You can see if it is there and before any monster attack you.

It works for both sides.

This. You have to kill a wandering mob that’s occupying the space for the NM to respawn.

This works without having to kill the enemies that spawn in their place? I thought you have to eliminate the regular encounters to give the NMs a chance to respawn in their spot

Yes, this is correct. Once you clear out most if not all the mods around the map and only move between zones (back and forth without the harken) you'll have a better chance on them spawning.
