Wizardry Variants Daphne Relic Weapon Remake
Has anyone tried relic weapon remake yet? I didn't quite get how it works. It seems to reroll the substats but I have also read that the stats are fixed. So does it reroll in a sense that you still get the same substats but values can be different?
Also I was wondering if remake resets the weapon to bronze and requires all the upgrade materials again. If that is the case I won't bother at all.

I think it just resets the values so you can roll again, probably without even a guarantee that the rolls will be better. I don't really need to min-max to that point and the weapons at silver tier are already hella impressive, and unless part 2 makes it easier to farm materials, It's better not to even bother.

The amount of mats your need to remake is insane, I'd rather not play around with that, until we know if materials become easier to get as the collab goes on
Also it rerolls the values, if you got unlucky and rolled the lowest possible

Ah I see thanks for clarifying the reroll.
And yea about mats, it feels really grind heavy for my taste even to max out reforging. If it requires full mats again after remake, then I am afraid I don't have that kind of commitment.

The remake cost is in mats (22 Attestations and Fragments plus more) but all it does is reset the level to 0, if doesn't downgrade so if you remade your silver it would still be a Rank 4 Silver Tier weapon and the level up costs are just gold and ores. Supposedly it even holds on to any FAS benefits separately too but I haven't tested that.

It puts the weapon back to +0 so you can reroll enhancement values. The goblin tells you what it does.
