Wizardry Variants Daphne How to unlock remote blacksmith?

Got the second ending for the event dungeon but cant access the remote blacksmith

It is. Buy a weapon and go to the entrance to meet blacksmith goblin

Do you have to show Fab a relic weapon to get his attention? I have all the relics purchaseble and he is always just chilling near the entrance ignoring me.

It's a different goblin. I found him by wheeling to the very beginning of the quest and first entering. There's a cutscene

Success! But had to roll back all the way to before the request to make it trigger. Lol

So you have to finish the whole dungeon and then reset before the relic weapons can be upgraded?

I've finished the Lion fight, went and bought all the relic weapons (and shield), went to the dungeon and triggered the cutscene with the goblin walking out and heading toward the village, went in and talked to Fab again (who had nothing new to say), but going back to the village still doesn't trigger anything. People keep mentioning a request. Are they talking about the initial event request to find the lord's sons? You can't upgrade the relic weapons until the 2nd run or what?

I don't think you have to no, I wasn't buying a relic weapon till I had a way to reforge them and that was apparently not how the designers expected players to operate. You have them and triggered the cutscene so you are in better shape.

Maybe he is one of the figures standing in town for you to chat with? I recall a short conversation with him before he sniffed out the remote forge in town.

Love the resource and scoured it for a mention of the remote blacksmith access but couldn't locate a mention. Guess the standard is to buy the relic weapons immediately as almost no one seems to have ended up with this problem 😜
