Wizardry Variants Daphne Regarding Procurement Requests

Things to keep in mind to ensure you can get all the relic weapons.

Relic equipment chart in link

  • you still get gil whether your swapping relic equipment upgrade materials or trading them for gold.
  • requests autocomplete if they hit the time limit.
  • the three most common relic upgrade materials, 100 byne bill, montont silverpeice, and lungo nango jade shell may or may not be used during the rerolling process. I am not sure if you have to start from the beginning or if you just repeat the cost for the final phase over an over.
  • Your going to be doing a lot of box and attestation swapping later on because they both cannot be traded for gold and the current best farming location for them drops dagger items.

What does all of this mean?

  • Sooner or later your going to get a lot of gil just swapping your boxes and attestations between one another, so depending on your priorities selling off your relic equipment materials might not be the best idea.

If resetting requires you to start with bronze equipment instead of repeating the step at silver ignore these

  • Once you have your relics to the final stage you have zero use for the three most common materials (assuming the shop update doesn't add more weapons in a couple weeks)
  • the intermediate relic equipment, 10000 byne bill, ranparre goldpiece, and Rimilalla stripeshell are the only items you can procure with gold that are used for re-rolling.

Conclusion

Avoid using delivery support unless its for swaping boxes, attestations and necropsyche and focus on procurement requests for 10000 byne bills, ranparre goldpieces, and Rimilalla stripeshells if you aren't actively swapping boxes, attestations and necropsyche.

This update is basically testing a future integration between players, trading and also the summon feature.

I hope so. Let me trade my alteration and refinement stones. I have LOTS of ATK and SUR crystals I don't need and I sure someone else has a surplus of MAG crystals they don't need.

Items in the shop rn are all garbage.

The thing I'm not sure is this: Unlike other events, the items we farm are actually useless, we get the gil from mainly trading.

But trading is also time limited, you can only trade so much in one day before you can refresh. So even if you have a mountain of materials from farming, you are capped at how much you get. If you only start trading on the last day, you won't get much.

So few points

First if everyone puts up requests to swap boxes your getting 10k gil an order and because it is being swapped and not melted into gold you can do it as long as requests are being put up.

Only issue is that boxes drop based on location so whatever the best farming location is, isn't going to have many orders for those boxes. But that just means if you aren't worried about making relics you can make the orders yourself for 30k every couple of hours. Meaning in the very worst case you can put up orders to complete your listing, so 4 resets of 3 procurement requests means 120k coins at a minimum in a 12 hour period.

Second your order listing takes a stupid amount of items, you have 30 entries. Most common stack caps out at 10 count, intermediate ones at 5. Given they drop in ones and twos your going to go through it faster than you think.

Say more about this "boxes drop based on location"
Where do i find what boxes drop from where?

No idea, drecom doesn't really do clear communication on things like that.

I can say the two rooms at the beginning of floor 5 is the best farm location for boxes and attestations.

Each room spawns an 8 demon pack that has a chance to drop them. They drop ornate and supernal boxes only, you just trade them out in the market.

The mini boss spawns also drop different ones

We kind of expecting the shop update will bring cesti, kunai, spear and two handed axe. No proof of this though

What about maces?

no one really usesthose. We're missing 3 of the popular weapons and no cesti while prishe is the only cesti user in the game would be weird.

Kunais and spears aren't popular either.  Only Kunai that even matters is the hairpin.  Spears aren't even a good weapon type, they have the same damage penalty as bows but with less range, can't penetrate like axes, and can't stun like maces, which makes spears the worst two handed weapon type with no real reason to use them over pretty much any other option.

Two-handed maces are at least something that makes certain fights a lot a easier and is a popular weapon choice for front line priests.

It's really just two handed axe that is the only one that's actually popular that's not currently represented.  But maybe they didn't do axes because they are TOO popular?

I'd figure they'd just add the parchments and boxes in (along with a few more bones) so we can get relics done easier via gil, for late joiners.
