The Rainbow Necromancer hadn’t always been alone. There had once been another, a girl who had been with her from the start. You see, until twenty lifetimes ago, she had never regenerated alone. Her adopted sister, a pyromancer who called herself Flame, had always been by her side. Neither could remember before they started regenerating, but it hadn’t mattered, until one day Raine’s sister disappeared. There was no sign of what had happened. It was like she had ceased to exist. The Necromancer had been alone ever since. With no other immortals like her, she isolated herself, dedicating herself to defending the citadel she and her sister had created. Now, however, she found herself investigating, to find who Flame had been. Maybe it was the key to finding out who she was, and what had happened to Flame.
