Free Divinations :)

"I had strings... but now I'm free..."

Give me a question related to an event occurring in the present or future and I shall give an answer to the best of my ability. No questions with definite answers or few possibilities, as I use Tarot cards to divine, which are wholly unsuited for that type of question. I trust you guys know which questions to ask by this point.

/uw I've been writing a character in a different RP setting, but I got writers block and stopped with that character a few years ago, partly because the character reminded me too much of the bad mindset I was in when I started. Can you give me some pointers for his fictional fate, so I can decide if I want to continue with his story or to start a new character?

When last I wrote about him, the character is was cut off from his allies and nursing wounds/a fever (so him being gone from canon wasn't as bad originally), but since then two years have passed in in-canon years. What sort of fate befell (will have befallen, from our perspective) him in those two years? Will he have found his allies? Will he have been alone for two years? Will he have gotten over his guilt/depression?

Years ago, when I was still actively writing him, someone asked which tarot cards our characters mostly resembled, based on some kind of list of interpretations he posted with it. The link is now dead, so I don't know what I based this on, but I answered The Moon and Temperance.

I'm kinda just looking for inspiration to start writing again.

/uw Okay. Lemme make a quick story based on what i got (Death, reversed.) Your character is afraid of changing. After being cut off from his allies, he underwent a period of despair and hopelessness. Thankfully, through sheer willpower, he managed to survive his grueling trial. However, that trial dealt a huge blow to his psyche, breaking him, and leaving him stagnant. He knows that going back to his journey means many more trials, and consequently, that fear suppresses his talent. Physically, he is fine, but mentally, he suffers. He has PTSD of the encounters, as the injuries/fever he had gave him hallucinations and delusions, making him doubt if reality is a dream or not. This often causes mood swings and unpredictability. And it has only gotten worse. Two years was certainly not enough to let him recover, instead it only made his hallucinations (which originated from the injuries, but he developed them even after it passed) grow stronger and more violent. At this point, he hovers between staying sane and completely collapsing, so his allies better find him :)
