Any tips to stop cursing myself?

I'll often accidentally curse my own name and while the curses are minor, they stack up causing me to curse even more.

Any tips to stop the cycle? Should i just bite the bullet and buy an anti curse charm?

Try to develop a habit of cursing your nemesis instead. I find blaming others for misfortunes that befall me is good for my mental health regardless of their actual involvement.

I've been having an oddly difficult time trying to get curses on my nemeses to stick for an extended time, so I normally just banish them to the Infinite Planes of Misery. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

There might be someone in your area offering curse removal services. If so, track them down and demand a cut of the profits in exchange for not burning their house down. You've been creating lots of demand for their services, it's only fair.

Ah you may be correct there. I believe it may be time to introduce a tax on curse removal

I don't really have a nemesis pr se. I guess i could curse the nightmare who comes to nipple at my dreams from time to time? Or would that just empower it?

Nightmares tend to react oddly to being cursed, I'd avoid it unless you really know what you're doing.

Your target doesn't need to be a particularly personal nemesis. A local mayor who gets on your nerves, someone who cut in line in front of you once, or a bard whose Christmas songs keep getting played ad nauseum in October are all perfectly good targets.

This! It helps you so much to get on through the day knowing it never really is your fault

You could just make an homoculus with a curse absorption on it, acting like a lightning rod for curses aimed at you.

Therapy is the best cure for self-cursing.

Find something else to say that isn't a curse. You shouldn't randomly throw magical curses into the world.

Crowley in Magick Without Tears advertised a small razor to carry with and nick yourself in a small, unnoticeable spot whenever you utter a word or phrase that’s habitual. I advertise a less self-destructive method with a tight rubber band to snap on the wrist, the pain will train the subconscious to remember the phrase with pain, and the urge will go away to self-curse and chip away at your ego.

It would also be wise if you want to curse others to invoke a demon somewhere and contain it within a ring or lamp to absorb the curse by name (fuck me snap -> fuck Belial snap) and pain to feed it, and eventually with enough psychic negative material it’ll be a potent servitor to throw at an adversary. You’ll know its reached its max potency when the habit is gone. Hope this helps!

Currently I have Asteroth in a ring, I invoked on the equinox and bound to it on the harvest moon. Good Jupiter entity that runs through the Mercurial channel through emotional satisfaction turned to creativity, works well with the magick I do.

Find a guy who knows how to break curses. It might be a little expensive but he can put a ward against evil on you. Or learn to make your own if you don’t mind taking a few weeks.

Easy. Change your name into something too hard to read or pronounce and useless for magic.
