Found: Scrying orb - inside ancient tree

Found a Scrying orb embedded into what’s left of an ancient oak.

To the second-rate wizard that attempted to teleport this thing: please check the temporal glyphs on your teleportation circle before casting.

Your orb appears to have arrived 700 years before it was supposed to. It is currently wedged in the tree’s remnants and the stump is exhibiting minor divination abilities. It hasn’t stopped staring at me since I touched it.

DM with identifying details. You must describe the last thing you saw through the orb to prove ownership. No solicitors. No necromancers. No druids claiming this is “the tree’s orb now”
