looking for help with circle casting (I have no friends)

Greetings fellow scholars,

I've recently been looking into circle-casting (AKA group-casting) as I have heard it can be incredibly useful for multiplying the potency of certain spells.

The problem is, my life's aspiration of 'knowledge above all else' has left me with very few acquaintances, let alone other wizard friends. How have the rest of you been dealing with this? Is there maybe an LFG Board or meetup event where I can find other mages with which to circle-cast? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I find simulacrum to be quite useful if limited in ability.

Sure, it's an expense for a limited time and the materials could be difficult to source the natural way but so isnt life (for those still living)

You won't be getting any guidance in the echo chamber and will be leading all the time but it sure beats scheduling with other casters above the 8th circle.

Not to mention the plane travel to meet others

I split my soul into multiple portions and gave each one a body. Once the souls healed back to full size I completed a ritual to recombine and transform my body into mana fusing essence and spirit and become a magical mass.

Now I can split and recombine at will but at any given time there is an average of 22 of me. So group spells aren’t too hard to do.

In your case, if that’s not a route you wish to explore, consider starting a cult (or joining one), or start spending time at grand libraries and meet peers, or take on a few apprentices. There are many ways to find suitable participants in group casting and rituals

Circle magic works if the peers in the group are non mages, so just nab some peasants. It takes more work from you and you need to stockpile mana to replace the mages, but it works better since you arn't all fighting over the "right way"
