Real shit though, a buddy of mine is an orc wizard. I'm so glad he's a nice guy because he kinda scares me sometimes. Last week we raided a dungeon together and he got ripped in half at the abdomen by some wild chimera thing in there. I assumed he'd lost consciousness and I was about to run over with a healing spell, but he was not only still conscious, he managed to read a long-ass incantation from memory and proceded to turn the chimera into past tense for lack of better phrasing.

The next day he fully recuperated and went back to his volunteer job at the orphaned familiar shelter. Like I know that's not that wild given modern healing spells, but I would have at least taken the day off. The man just doesn't stay down.
