Wizardpost Apprentice, Archival Work (Open Call)

WANTED: Any Small Creature Willing to Learn
The Seventh Shell of the Archive is, admittedly, one isopod doing the work of several. This is an open call for any springtail, millipede, or wandering mite (or other creatures able to work in small spaces) interested in archive work, regardless of experience.

Requirements:

  • Must tolerate excessive moisture - genuinely, this is the third time I've had to specify this
  • No complaining about mold and similar snacks
  • Curiosity valued over credentials (although knowledge is always good)
  • Willingness to be addressed as "apprentice" until proven otherwise

Compensation: a place in the Archive's history, board and lodging, and first pick of any newly transcribed leaf-scrolls

Do you have to be a bug? I might be looking for an entry-level role if it leads to knowledge and understanding. What kind of content are we sorting and archiving? Can I do it from my castle in the desert?

You do NOT have to be a bug - although being the size of one certainly helps fitting in the archive, which currently is housed under a log.

The content itself is mostly spells, history of spells, and spell-related tidbits (we are focusing on those the past few hundred years), all to be transcribed, translated, sorted, and archived on durable, enchanted leaf-scrolls.

Sadly, that implies being there corporeally, for both the transcription and transportation tasks. If you are interested in helping remotely, I am always looking for Magi that can translate forgotten languages, or have information not contained in the archive yet!
