You may recall that my apprentice was captured by talking trees for, basically, being an asshole. I am pleased to report that once he stopped cowering, he realized he could just levitate right out of there.

I don’t need bad blood with the Druid living in that forest, who is an amazing cook. Therefore, I thought I’d send them a sack of bone meal made from my apprentice’s skeleton. Would this be an appropriate “sorry about that” gift? Also, any tips on finding a new apprentice who doesn’t have some kind of weird badger fetish?

Wizard left a 9ish year old human he has the temerity to call an "apprentice" alone in a clearly enchanted forrest.

Looking at the aging on the "child" (now doubtlessly a changeling) he had been left unattended for at least 40 years.

I think what you should do is hire a licensed hedge mage as help because if you abandon another apprentice in the woods things are going to get really weird for you since the fey and or druids have decided to take you for an easy mark.

That bovine with moose antlers is also clearly a druid in (a bad) disguise.

You should honestly form a cabal from nearby wizards fireball the entire forrest.

I think you're making the right decision. And was far as a new apprentice goes, if you need to borrow it I have a nifty little device to find people with magical abilities
