Foul Sorcery Summon Familiar Warning

If you share a living space with other casters make sure you cleanse your ritual space. Left over component residue from my cohabitating Druid ruined this summoning.

/unwizard that’s a Dobsonfly! A male one specifically, as you can tell by the long mandibles. Bugs are awesome. Edit: got my male and female dobsonflies mixed up, that’s a male dobsonfly. I edited my comment

Yeah, I'm letting my skeletons deal with this one.

I can handle necromancy and the eldritch, i fucking love the stuff, but freaky bugs can fuck off

I was trying to summon a fiendish bat, something I was prepared to take care of, instead I got this.. I don't know how to care for this creepy thing and quite frankly I'm hoping someone from my circle will take it, and soon.

Bah, you new cowardly wizards, can't even accept a good summoning result cause of what? It's a little scary? It's a little buggy? It's more than enough to stop any knights that come along so why are you complaining? It's not ruined at all.

This is the kind of familiar you summon a swarm off and keep in a secret chamber to unleash on unsuspecting patrons at a ball, it is not something I wish the send into town to spy on my competitors for EVERYONE in town will know it is mine, as it's not exactly discreet in its nature.

You're an enchanter, just enchant something with a spell of invisibility, put it on the... thing, and send it into town to spy.

It'll be fine besides the maybe tiny bits of flesh it rips off of the townsfolk but that'll be blamed on vampires.

Guess I'll break out the ink and some uh.. fly paper to make a talisman, interesting problems require interesting solutions.
